Thomas James '18 Recruiting Profile

    Ever since my dad handed me my first glove when I was four years old, baseball has been my passion. Baseball is what defines who I am, and I have worked relentlessly throughout my life to continuously further my abilities. When I practice, I do not feel burdened by a chore, but rather I feel blessed to have the opportunity to excel in what I love. Equal to baseball in importance is my academic success, in which my grades are given the utmost of importance. I currently am enrolled in multiple advanced courses including an AP English class, and have enrolled in the International Baccalaureate program for next year. I have always possessed an entrepreneurial spirit, and I seek an education that will provide me with a successful career in business. I wish to combine my two passions, baseball and academic excellence, and have a successful college experience that will prepare me for my future. I wish to play baseball at the highest level that my abilities allow, and use the game to propel me to an academic university that will enable me to have a successful life that I will never regret.
