Personal Statement

I have been playing as a catcher since I was 5 years old, playing travel baseball since I was 8. I am a catcher by nature.  Though I have played, and can play any position.   I traveled to play baseball since I live in California and we were shut down for a large portion of our 2020-2021 season due Covid.  I have recently grown, I'm currently 6'-1", 190lbs, and still growing, and continue to get stronger  from working hard physically. I believe my biggest assets are my arm strength, hitting average, and baseball knowledge. I have been fortunate to be recently mentored by some great coaches which made a huge difference in my progress, as my significant improvements in my metrics can attest over the last year. I am feeling confident and continue to work hard so that I can meet the demands and prove myself at a quality program.  I want to find a school and baseball program that share my values. I want to play for a coach who can teach me more about the the game I love.  I am competitive and believe I have the fundamental baseball skills both physically and mentally to compete at the highest level. I have been working on my grades and currently have the best grades of my high school career.  I am very open to different programs to find the right fit.  I am looking to find a great baseball program, staff and players, and a school where we work together to make each other better, both in sports and life. I have learned so many lessons in baseball that make me a better and stronger athlete and have built my character which is important to me to continue in a positive direction. I want to commit as soon as possible.  Trust is paramount in my search. I want a positive environment built on earned and proven trust and character. If this sounds like something you offer and believe in, I would love to speak with a representative of your program.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
