Dwight Davenport '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Dwight Davenport. I am a great athlete and work hard every day to become a better player. I work hard every day to better myself mentally on and off the field and physically.  Baseball is my life and I love playing it and I can't imagine myself not playing it. I'm thankful for every minute and second I am able to play this beautiful game. I am mentally strong and have gone through struggles which have made me a better person and I've gone through struggles on the field as well. I grind hard everyday, and watch baseball everyday. Over the summer when I played for Norcal Baseball with Coach Rob Bruno, I went to Los Angeles for a showcase/tournament and I received a scouting write up in the scouting blog stating that I was a table setter, line drive hitter and could make a difference in the next level. If you allow me to play for your program, you are getting a hard worker, great personality and optimistic man.  I played for College of the Redwoods last season and had a pretty good season.
