AJ Esperanza '18 Recruiting Profile

I look forward to college and how the experience will shape my future. The opportunity to play college baseball would be a dream come true. 

The game has been a huge part of my life. I've played on many championship winning teams leading up to high school. I've been given the opportunity to play on my high school's varsity team as a Freshman.  I am dedicated to hard work and playing the game "the right way." Emphasizing hustle, dedication and leadership, I do my best to be the kind of player a coach wants to have on his team. Though baseball is my main focus, I recently led my freshman football team to a league championship. As the quarterback and linebacker I gained the MVP award. I am not afraid to work hard and I love to compete.

I consider myself a scholar athlete. I work hard at my studies and on the field. I take rigorous honors courses and look forward to AP courses in my upcoming years. My weighted GPA is over 4.0. I plan on keeping it that way. 

The things I have learned from the game of baseball make me stronger. I respect the game and look forward to playing with a college team that can help me to grow as an athlete and a person.
