Greetings,
My name is Andrew Jesse Marquez. Both my parents didn't have the opportunity to go to college. They started our family at a very young age, eighteen and seventeen years old. They had three children; my older sister Krystal, Me and my younger sister Brooke. They've always told us that college should be our priority in life for education purposes; and they've supported us in everyway possible to help make our college dream a reality someday. They’ve guided us in the right direction, through support of school work, support of athletics and the unconditional love towards my family. My sister Krystal just obtained her Master degree with the help of a softball scholarship. My dream is to also obtain a Masters degree. I am a seventeen year old boy who has played baseball almost my entire life; I've maintained a 2.5 gpa for my first three years of school. I am a senior at Pacifica High School, located in Southern California. I am open to all college opportunities that would allow me to obtain my degree and at the same time allow me to play the game I Love Baseball. I’ve been pitching since I was four years old; being a left handed pitcher, coaches have given me the continued support through out my baseball career so far to enable me to be the best I can be and when I step on the mound to play for my teammates, coaches, friends family and for myself; there is no other feeling in the world! It is my dream to go to college like my sister. I am confident I will make an impact as a baseball pitcher for the college I attend.
Sincerely,
Andrew Marquez
