Amani Wilson '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Amani Wilson and I’m currently a Junior (2024) at Robert Louis Stevenson in Pebble Beach, CA. I am a multi-sport athlete, I play football in the Fall (lineman) and baseball in the Spring (1st baseman). When I’m not on the field I can be found on a golf course. 

Baseball is more than a sport for me. Baseball has guided me in all aspects of my life on and off the field. It’s taught me discipline, consistency, respect, teamwork, resilience and how to handle failure gracefully. I am very coachable, humble, even-natured and hardworking. 

Education and academics is my number one focus and currently I have a 3.7 GPA. Since a young age I’ve been taught “I’m a scholar before a baller!” I’m undecided about my academic career but I am learning towards studying digital design or kinesiology in college. My goal is to play baseball in college while obtaining my bachelor’s degree and eventually going on to get my masters degree.
