Hi I’m Cody Lemler, I’ve been playing the game of baseball as long as I can remember. It all started one day when my Grandpa introduced me to it when I was about 2 years old, he started rolling me ground balls and tossing me pop ups with this blue rubber ball that my dog chewed on. I knew right away I loved the game and this was what I wanted to do, so my grandpa signed me up for tee ball. I played around 6 seasons of baseball for the city’s league and made the All-Star team 4 of the seasons.
After a while of the city’s league I grew out and my skill level was to advanced compared to the other kids. So me and my family decided to join a travel ball team, I joined IE Venom. Me being on that team didn’t last very long, I have bounced around a couple teams but after a while I finally found the perfect fit on the Redlands Bulldogs Black, I’ve been on the Bulldogs for over 3 years and have had many successes with this organization.
I would consider myself very fortunate to have the opportunity to play this game I love at the highest level possible. Campus culture and personal fit are just as important to me as the quality of play and the team dynamic of a baseball program. I rely on teammates and family for my strength and I'm looking forward to this process and finding a college baseball program that I can call home.
Now to get into what my goals are, I would like to attend a good baseball school that has a really good business program. The goal is to take baseball pro and I believe I can achieve that goal with hard work. Although I believe in myself I think it is a always a good idea to have a plan B, if pro baseball doesn’t work out I would like to open some kind of business maybe even multiple.
