Misha Bruno '23 Recruiting Profile

I want to go to college to continue my education and better myself so I can someday establish a career.  While my dream is to become an MLB catcher, my long-term goal is to become a first responder. But another reason I would like to go to college is so that if I decide to become a doctor I already have four years down.

As a person, I feel a strong commitment to helping those in need in my community. As a baseball player, I believe what makes me different from other catchers is my toughness. I give it my all and never shy away from challenges no matter how great. My primary position is catcher, but I can play any position on the field and will play where needed.  I do play first base and outfield positions and require further development of that is the direction chosen for me. My main focus now is to be an elite catcher. I have a strong arm which gives me an advantage as an outfielder.

When I am on the field the game is my focus, while in the dugout or anywhere else with my teammates I will always try to encourage excellence while staying loose at the appropriate times.  I look forward to a rewarding college experience and I can be counted on to be a responsible leader. 

One more note, I will be OSHA-Safety Certified and CPR Certified upon graduation in 2023. I plan to get my EMT Certification in the summer of 2023 so that I can work as an EMT part-time while going to school. My dad wants to take me to every MLB Park that summer, I’m not sure how we will squeeze it all in, but we will try.
