Nicholas Katz '22 Recruiting Profile

Baseball has been my passion and my life since I was 6. It has challenged me mentally and physically, crafting me into a leader on and off the field. I have played on both rec and travel baseball teams throughout the years, along with playing on my middle and high school teams.  Through great coaches and teammates, I have developed a keen eye and passion for the game.

Outside of baseball, I have always pushed and excelled in music and academics. I have traveled across California for trumpet performances and camps. In the classroom, I strive to challenge myself. Currently, I am taking 3 AP classes and a college-level philosophy class, while maintaining a 4.3 GPA over my first 3 years of high school.

I always come to practice with a positive attitude while taking as much time as needed to support teammates and friends. I am dedicated to any program I am a part of, always giving 100 percent no matter what. I am looking for a program that will challenge me and push me to new limits while allowing me to still thrive in my other passions.
