My name is Chase Lukin from Mary Star of the Sea High School in San Pedro, CA. I'm a 5'9" - 130 lb. Senior and I have an excellent academic background with a 3.3 GPA. I have a strong work ethic in both academics and athletics. This year on varsity I have been starting at both second base and right field. I was the starting SS on my junior varsity baseball team for the last 2 years. Was the starting shortstop on my summer baseball team and a right-handed pitcher when needed. I consider myself a utility player that can be utilized anywhere on the field. I am looking for a college with a strong academic program as well as a competitive baseball program. I would love to play division one baseball, but I am open to playing anywhere, as long as the academics fit me at that school. What sets me aside from other recruits is that I might not have the big size but I make up for it with my great athletic abilities, hard work, field smarts, and a great understanding of fundamental baseball. I will conduct myself with pride and respect on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the school I attend. My goal is to play college baseball and pursue a career in criminal justice.
