Isaiah Bumgarner '17 Recruiting Profile

When I took my first step on the field at eight years old, I fell in love with the game. It has been my dream to play at the collegiate level and I'm working hard to make that dream possible. I realize that playing baseball at the next level is a opportunity that will change my life.

I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates to be the best they can be. I strive to be one of the hardest working and players and recruits that you'll find. I am very coachable and never cease to give my absolute best efforts at all times.

Besides setting an example on the field, I work hard in the classroom to keep a high GPA. I believe that without education nothing is possible. I also volunteer as an assistant coach at the local little league field.

I would love to attend a college where I can excel in the classroom and on the field. I am open to all options and hope to find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to my peers and to make my parents very proud.
