Joshua Lee '20 Recruiting Profile

My desire is to be the best student athlete that I can be. I know there is great responsibility that that entails, on the field and in the classroom. One must be disciplined, diligent, and dedicated. I have been learning the importance of these things as I aspire to become a student athlete on the college level. There are no days off.

As a teammate, I not only enjoy the camaraderie but the accountability we have to one another to pick one another up  for the good of the team. I hope to be part of and contribute to a strong team culture wherever I go.

One thing that baseball has taught me more than anything else  is the importance of perseverance. In order to grow as a player, you must keep pressing on.  Your failures and successes don’t define you as much as your consistency and effort does. And the more consistent and hard at work you are, the more successful you will be. It has always been my goal to focus on the things I can control - showing up, working hard, and being focused.
