Colin Roche '25 Recruiting Profile

Baseball has always been an important part of my life. It's hard to for me to remember a time when I wasn't playing the game. Since I was nine, I have wanted to play baseball in college and compete for a national championship. I hope that I will reach my goals of becoming a starter, and playing all four years of college, while setting myself up for the future and getting a degree. What makes me a good candidate for your team is my ability to be coached, my skills as a player, my love for the game, and my role as a leader and a good teammate. What makes me different from other recruits is always trying to be the best version of myself. Even if I don't do well in a game I will always continue to cheer on my team while looking for the next opportunity to make a play. In terms of athletic abilty I have always been able to play any position a coach puts me in, and have shined as an athlete on the field. I love to play all positions, but consider myself to be a great catcher as well as a solid infielder, and a consistent hitter, who coaches can always rely on to deliver in clutch situations. On the academic side of things I always try my hardest in terms of school, and put my grades before anything else. I hope to play the sport I love in college, and know I have the athletic and acedemic ability to do so.
