Geoffrey Allen '18 Recruiting Profile

My dream has always been to get to the next level. In doing so I believe you have to be teachable and coachable. I have never shied away from the spotlight as I am a catcher so I have always been a captain on and off the field. From what I have heard I am very helpful and good with guidance, because the process is more important than the product at the end, it's not that you got there it's what you did that got you there.  I think that you won't get far if you don't have a short memory because this game is "90% mental and 10% physical" a coach once told me. I've always strived to do my best, because losing feels worse than winning feels good to me. Nothing brings me down, because I have a purpose for everything I do and worry or doubt do not serve a purpose in my eyes. My work ethic is to always take care of my responsibilities first to ensure I won't be a failure, because in Stockton you see a lot of those people(failures), so I use that as motivation on what not to do.
