Matthew Benzor '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Matthew L. Benzor and I am a 5"11, 180lb Class of 2024 RHP, SS, and 3B in Southern California. I have been playing baseball since I was 3 years old and still love the sport. I am a 3.8 GPA student athlete who is looking to study Business Management. I have a great CB, change up, slider and I am able to locate and hit my spots. I recently pitched a complete game shutout to help my high school team snap a 30 year drought and captured the CIF D1 Championship at Dodger Stadium (being able to pitch on my favorite teams stadium was a dream come true.) for my efforts this past season I received both All-City MVP and Pitcher of the Year honors. I am someone who is very coachable and my mindset is always “team before me” because I want to do whatever it takes to help my team succeed. I would love nothing more than to take my career to the next level and grow as an athlete. I plan to continue working hard academically and athletically to reach the next step.
