Personal Statement

Baseball has been the driving force in my life since I could walk. At age two, I'd don a full Dodgers uniform, emulating Clayton Kershaw or Andre Ethier, and beg my parents to take me to ballparks just to swing and run the bases.

My passion for the game grew as my father built a baseball field on our ranch, where my parents tirelessly coached and played catch with me. My ultimate goal is to play baseball at the highest level, aspiring to pitch or play center field for an elite college program and eventually in the MLB. As a sophomore, I earned a starting position, and now a senior, I've been selected to lead our team to League and Division Championships.

I chose Oaks Christian High School for its blend of academic excellence, athletic distinction, and Christian values, which align perfectly with my personal goals.

What sets me apart is my unwavering dedication and work ethic. I train relentlessly, embracing Cal Ripken Jr.'s philosophy of staying in shape throughout my career.

My coaches, who share my passion for baseball, are shaping us into not just skilled players but also exemplary citizens and community leaders.

Looking ahead, I dream of giving back to my hometown of Fillmore, inspiring young athletes to pursue their baseball dreams with the same fervor that has driven me.

As Cal Ripken Jr. said, "Get in the game. Do the best you can. Try to make a contribution, learn from today and apply it to tomorrow".

This quote encapsulates my approach to baseball and life – always striving to improve, contribute, and make a positive impact.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
