I think the main thing in life is to chase and capture your dreams, no matter how long or difficult that journey is. Through my journey to get to the major league, I have learned to recognize the difficulty, and the immense amount of time and effort it takes into acquiring this dream, and in my opinion, that's how it should be. This is where I feel I'm different from most players. Although I'm aware of the low success rate in this sport, I face challenges that make me not only a better ball player but also a better person and student. This takes place on and off of the field, how I communicate with others, and how I remain motivated to make my self better in each category I can. It's not just about making yourself better, but also creating opportunities to make your team better, and trusting them to support you back. By learning from my teammates, I am proud of who I am today and I plan to continue my journey. While learning about life, you also have to understand when to shine, and when to do all that you can to succeed, and this is where my competitiveness or thirst to win comes in to play. I'm always trying to outplay myself in each and every game, trying to do better then the past game, even if I went 4 for 4 or had a perfect game, there is always room for improvement. When I was in sixth grade, we had to move to somewhere a couple hours away from where I grew up. Although the change was hard, I worked through it and it made me a better ballplayer, person, and student, and it's gotten me to where I am today. Without teammates and family, my drive for baseball wouldn't be the same, not saying I wouldn't love it as much, but I wouldn't have the support and opportunities I do now.
