Baseball is who I am. This sport has saved me and given me even more drive since I just grew 6 inches in 19 months. With my late bloom growth, Im now 6.4" and 210 pounds and ready to go. I had to be patient in that process, so I study and train the game every day except Sunday. Developing into an MLB baseball player has completely been my passion. I have been dedicating every day to working with my strength and conditioning coach and developing a strong throwing and agility program. I am seeing huge gains and I am back on the mound since beginning of November. Before I had to sit out my arm, I threw .000 ERA as a closer for my high school team this past spring. Along with that, I have played at first base my whole life. All of my coaches tell me that I am a true two way player.
Since I was three years old, I have never stopped loving this game. I have been lucky to be encouraged by all the teachers and coaches in my life-- to have a growth mindset and a great work ethic. At the same time, I think I am a good teammate and friend. I think my unique ability is to bring out the best in my team. It will lead to me being a great baseball player, coach, or maybe to be involved in a sports business.
I am a good academic student and that is not because it is easy for me. I get good grades because I work hard for my grades. At the end of the day, I am a focused left handed hitter/ pitcher/ first baseman, but I want to do it well. This game has given me so much, and I know that my destiny is to play at a highly competitive level.
