Chris Luke '24 Recruiting Profile

I've wanted to play baseball at the collegiate level since I first walked on a ball field. I understand that playing baseball in college is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will transform my life -- and perhaps lead to a role in "The Show" one day.  I'm wicked fast, have a great glove, a great arm, and a sweet swing.  I hit pole to pole. I believe I have 4 of the 5 tools right now; the 5th: power, will come with more body growth.

I'm a very coachable athlete that strives to be one of the hardest working students, players, and recruits you could find.

In the classroom, I study hard to get good grades and maintain a high GPA. I have lofty scholastic goals and know that "student" comes first in student-athlete. I had a tough freshman year because of online learning (COVID 2020) and my GPA wasn't the best and I am still working hard to get my GPA up since I know and understand that I need the grades to accomplish my dreams.

I want to go to a college where I can challenge myself both academically and athletically. I am open to all possibilities and hope to find the ideal college match at the highest level of competition possible. NCAA DI baseball and NJCAA DI baseball is my ambition, and I'm confident that I can achieve it. I aspire to be a positive role model for all of my classmates and to make my parents proud.
