As a competitor, I have set myself the goal of playing high level baseball. This has been a goal of mine since I started playing. I have played baseball and basketball for many years and I am always looking to improve in these two sports. In my opinion, my best trait is my team based style of play. At the plate my goal is never stat based or based on how I look to others. I feel I play with my team to win and only to win. I strive to encourage and support my teammates. I consistently have 8-12 pitch at bats against better pitchers, especially when we are struggling against him.
As a freshman I received an award during my first season for my consistent attitude and hustle in the game.
