My passion for the game of baseball started the day I could pick up a ball. I grew up watching my Dad play and that's what sparked my interest in playing. I was always in the dugout while my Dad was on the field, learning the game before I could even get on a little league team. My Dad and I started working on my skills as soon as I could throw and handle a bat. I was taught how to keep a book when I was only 6 years old. I understood at a young age that baseball is what I wanted to do with my life.
I am passionate about beginning the next chapter in my story, and pursuing my dreams of playing the game at the highest level. I love competing at a high level on a team of guys with the same mindset and to pushing my abilities against good competition. I always want to be the best player on the field no matter what it takes, and if I fall short then I work harder.
Over the years, I began to understand the significance baseball had in my life and started focusing on the things that were needed for my success. Playing college baseball would be a dream come true because being with coaches and players of that caliber can only make me a better player and a person. Along with playing college baseball, being able to earn a college degree is a huge goal of mine. Having a degree from a good college will help me better set myself up for the future .
