James Gallegos '20 Recruiting Profile

First and foremost my collegiate aspirations lie within the classroom. Plan A, while seeking colleges is to receive the education in which I desire and pursue a major in environmental sciences; however, baseball has always been more than just a game to me. My love for baseball runs deeper than any other activity I affiliate with.  Not only has the game taught me the importance of learning from failure, it has also granted me great leadership qualities that have transferred into many other aspects of my life, whether it be in other sports at school or just hanging out with my friends.  A dream of mine has always been to play baseball at the collegiate level. I am looking to ride my natural athleticism, extensive knowledge of the game, coachability, and deep love for the game to places I never would have imagined. I am hoping my hard work in the classroom can help aid me in paying for my schooling to allow me to someday pursue my dream and play for as long as the game permits.
