Hi my name is Eppie Quintana I am 17 years old and I go to Ignacio High school in Ignacio, Colorado (2A). I have a younger brother and sister.
As soon as I started playing baseball I fell in love with the sport and I am constantly trying to get better and strive for greatness. The field for me is my second home and I am always looking forward to practice and playing on game day. When I was younger my dad drilled it into me to work as hard as I can in order to earn a spot on the team and that nothing was going to be handed to me.
This year I have grown immensely with my pitching, I am currently ranked second for 2A in the state of Colorado for most innings pitched with 55.1 innings pitched in 11 appearances. I have a ERA of 4.81 with one no hitter. Some of my offensive stat highlights from this year; I have a Batting average of 0.569 and a OBP of 0.633 and here is where you can see the rest of my stats https://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/eppie-quintana/3UluJiny3kSNaeuLIqmlGA/baseball/stats.htm
Off the field I enjoy being outside playing corn hole with my brother and our friends. I also enjoy fishing, basketball, cross country, pretty much anything that I can be competitive with.
