Jonathan Monroe '22 Recruiting Profile

Currently a solar installer in Colorado. Had to remain at home this year due to a family situation. Will be attending college in the upcoming fall semester. I was a captain starting my junior year of high school, that combined with my real world construction experience gives me a mentality and work ethic some may not have fresh out of high school. During the first half of my gap year I have constructed a pitching mound for my backyard, become a registered electricians apprentice in the state of Colorado, and been in the gym 4-6 days a week. This has allowed me to gain 25 pounds of muscle and add almost 200 pounds to my back squat since graduating high school. Working in the trades I am accustomed to being up early, being self sufficient, and most importantly working productively with others.
