Personal Statement

My name is Baden  Plante and I attend East Hampton High School in East Hampton, CT.  I was born on March 18, 2006.  As of February 8, 2023 I am 6’0” and 185 LBS.  My primary position is RHP. Baseball has been my life since the age of 1 and I have always envisioned playing at the highest level my ability allows.  I am a fierce competitor, however, I respect the game, my coaches, and teammates. I have had the opportunity to learn the game from many great coaches and know without them I wouldn't be the player that I am today.   When I am not playing baseball or not in school I enjoy soccer, skiing, working out and hanging out with my friends and family.  Though school and baseball take up most of my time, I enjoy traveling and learning new things. I take pride in making sure my body is in great shape going into the season.  I am lucky to have two parents who support my dreams a push me to be the best student athlete I can.  Though I am not quite sure what  my major will be in the future, I have great interest in science and math and look to pursue a career in a field focused on sports.  I would like to assure all of the college coaches interested in me that I am a level headed, humble teenager who works hard and wants to succeed both in the classroom and on the field.  I may not have all the answers yet for what I am looking for, but if given the opportunity to play at the next level I work hard everyday to represent the university well.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
