Ever since I was little, baseball has been a major part of my life. Most of my childhood memories are centered around getting up early on Saturday mornings and playing late into the afternoons. Every day I would wake up and be excited to be on the field and enjoy myself with my teammates. Now, as a junior in high school, the same thing is still true. Each day I still wake up and am thankful to play baseball. Along the way, baseball has also taught me many important life lessons like discipline, hard work, and commitment. It was during these times baseball became a passion which then turned into aspirations to play at the collegiate level. As a player I feel like I am very versatile. I’m strong on the bump and throw a lot of strikes and command the zone. At the plate, I’m scrappy and hit for contact. I’m also strong in the field and have experience at almost all infield positions. Most importantly, I’m very coachable, something that I feel distinguishes me from other recruits. If given the opportunity to play in college, I promise to work hard and represent that program well.
