Sam Ametrano '23 Recruiting Profile

It has been my dream ever since I was 5 years old playing Tee ball, to play baseball at the next level. However, I do not only want to play baseball, I also want to get a good education so that after college, and my long MLB career, I will know how to manage my money. But seriously it has been my dream to play collegiate baseball and to learn about running a Business and economics while doing so. Baseball brings me a lot of joy to not only be playing, but to be practicing for as well. I love to help out at all of the Little League camps that I can make it to because it helps keep the fun of baseball present. I remember being in Little League and seeing the high schoolers and thinking that they were the best in the world and keeping that tradition alive helps baseball keep expanding. I started my entire Junior year in the outfield and on the mound, inevitably earning the Heart and Hustle award at the end of the season. I am interested in exploring the Business aspect of college and as a student athlete I pride myself in working very hard in the classroom and on the field. I always conduct myself with respect in the classroom and on the field displaying great sportsmanship knowing that my attitude and respect reflects on my teammates, coaches, and my school.
