Hayden Roberts '23 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a senior at Hamden High School in Hamden CT.  I started playing baseball at age 9.  I have always played multiple positions and started focusing on catching, first base and outfield my 14u season.  The 2022 season I played alot of catching and 1st base.  I still work on all positions so I always prepared to fill in when needed.  I am always working on improving all my skills. I started playing in competitive leagues at the 10u level. As a freshman at Stratford High, I was starting Catcher. We lose my sophomore year due to COVID and I transferred and Re-classes at St. Joseph. My family and I moved to another town and the commute to St. Joseph was much, so I am going to hometown school.  I am a team player who does whatever is best for the team, which would make me good candidate for a college team.  I alway work hard and supports all my teammates. Ive always been told I am very coachable and a hard-working player by my past and present coaches.  I love to continue learning the game.  I am able to think on my feet and anticipate what is coming.  I take my academics serious, and my grade are important to me.
