As a lifelong baseball and hockey player, I have learned the importance of heart, persistence, and the need for a strong work ethic. After years of trying to crack the lineup as a starting pitcher, I finally earned my chance at 13u. That struggle motivated me to prove myself. Since that first opportunity, I have led my AAU teams at the top of the pitching rotation. I carried this experience to my high school varsity team as a sophomore serving the role of “fireman” out of the bullpen. I thrived in this role as I love getting the ball in big moments. I am most proud of the fact that my varsity coach describes me as a “warrior”.
My goal is to thrive as a collegiate pitcher and pursue a major in business and sports management. I have a solid build for a “workhorse” pitcher and continue to push myself in the gym. My grades are above average and I am relentless on the field and in the classroom. I will bring reliability to a team. Besides competition, my favorite part of the game is the camaraderie with my teammates. My coaches regularly compliment how “coachable” I am.
I have complete support from a small army of my family, friends and coaches to tenaciously pursue my goals.
