I am very thankful for the path my parents have helped set me on. They have always given me the best opportunities to succeed academically, socially and athletically. It’s up to me to now take those opportunities and push myself to be the best that I can be at everything I do. They have taught me the value of family, friends, teammates and coaches, and the responsibilities that I have to all of them. I take extreme pride in how I treat people.
I am very fortunate for my baseball development. I’ve had great coaches and instructors that have continually helped me achieve my goals. Also, my father was a catcher in college at the Division II level and has been coaching for almost 15 years. He has always been taught me to be mechanically sound and mentally strong, while helping me understand pitching from a catchers perspective. I believe that is where I differ from most players my age. I take pride in what I do on the mound but even more so in my ability to stay level headed in every situation.
Outside of baseball, I enjoy all sports, traveling with my family, reading multiple types of books and spending time with my dogs. My passion academically is in the Communications/Media fields.

- LHP - dominant summer on mound. Showed excellent poise on elite tournament team. Plus defender 1B, OF. Continues to grow offensively.

- Mason had another excellent season on the mound, + defense at each position. Showed major improvement in qualifying at bats.
- 2018 Connecticut Mayhem Baseball (14u Elite Tournament Team)
- A young (4/2004) incoming Freshman, left handed pitcher that shows a lot of promise. Releases the ball from a high 3⁄4 slot with a hitch in his delivery. The fastball sat around 67 mph (high 70)(up 9 mph YOY) with solid movement, natural tail away from right handed hitters. He throws his curveball at 62/63 mph. Shows promising 11/5 shape. Tightening the break will help him miss even more barrels at the next level. + defense 1B/OF. Improving bat speed/strength should be a focus in the offseason. CT Mayhem Baseball
- 2018 Connecticut Mayhem Baseball (16U Elite - Fall)
- Mason is just now entering his Freshman year where the importance of getting off to a great start has been reinforced with all players. Mason had very solid summer season, especially with his pitching and 1B performance. His ability to locate his pitches consistently has improved game after game. Two and four seam fastballs along with his curve are his go to pitches. His natural movement/tail is helpful, but must continue to advance in consistency with his change up. As always, Mason is a great teammate with a great attitude. Mason needs to focus on strength, conditioning, speed and agility this offseason to continue to progress offensively as well as further developing arm, core and leg strength. Much of this will be a focus in our Fall season.
