Jack Kushman '24 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a junior at Southington High School in CT.  I have played baseball since I was in elementary school and have specialized in the position of catcher.  I also play outfield.  My current goal is to improve all of my skills on the field during my high school, summer and fall seasons, playing in competitive leagues, so I can play at the collegiate level.  I would be a good candidate for a college team because I am a leader who works hard, is self-motivated and can take feedback and apply it to my skill set.  My head is always in the game.  As a catcher, there are many leadership responsibilities during the game.  I am able to think on my feet and anticipate what is coming.  I am a team player who does whatever is best for the team, but always with the focus of improving myself and teammates.  I take my academics seriously as my grades show and am very conscientious about my schedule and getting things done and done well.  I carry this attitude on and off the field.
