Personal Statement

Ever since I was a little kid, I have loved baseball. At around 9 years old, I began catching, and ever since, have loved the leadership role it gives me on the field. Likewise, I enjoy playing outfield, as it offers another chance to be a leader, as well as to showcase my athletic ability. During my free time, I enjoy playing classical piano, spending time with my family and friends, being outdoors in nature, and travelling to various countries to experience their cultures and food. I am also an active member in my school's Environmental Club, and plan to major in environmental science. Of course, academics are very important to me, and I aspire to attend a school that offers a great education and strong baseball program where I can develop both as a player and a person.
