Brode Gann '24 Recruiting Profile

I have grown up playing baseball, watching baseball, talking about baseball throughout my whole childhood.  Although I enjoy other sports, baseball is the game I am most passionate about.  Baseball is a game I respect because it's fun and very complex.   I am always studying baseball, practicing at becoming better and seeking knowledge from my coaches.  I know that it takes more than skill, strength, and speed to be good. Good instincts, awareness, fearlessness, and a deep knowledge of the game is what really makes someone successful.  I am striving to be a college baseball player who is an asset to the team not only with my performance, but also with integrity.  I respect the game, my coaches, my teammates, and my opponents.  One of my strengths as a teammate is I am able to motivate others.  MLB is my ultimate goal.  After my baseball career I want to continue to have baseball be a major part of my life whether it is by being a sports broadcaster, sports agent, or coach.  In the meantime, I am serious about getting good grades and about growing mentally and physically so I can be ready for college.  I will continue to conduct myself with honor and respect off the field and in all parts of my life.  Please follow my development on Twitter @brodegma.
