Cooper Scott '23 Recruiting Profile

I’m a 2023 power hitting outfielder/1st baseman from Austin TX, I most recently played at Tyler Junior College one year and I am looking for my next baseball home.  I graduated from IMG Academy, but also played for Lake Travis High School and GPS Legends Summer Team.  I love my teammates and the game of baseball.  I’m dedicated to growing as a player, student, and as a person.  My goal is to play at the highest level possible with aspirations to play professionally.  During my off time you will find me working out, fishing, playing video games with my friends or cooking an amazing steak.  Since I started playing, I have always been one of the strongest hitters on my teams.  As I have gotten older, my other skills (speed, defense, base running) have caught up to my power.  I haven’t had metrics done recently but my exit velocity is verified at 105.5 during a previous PBR event, and my 60 time is 6.8 I am confident that I can immediately contribute to a fantastic college baseball program!  I am majoring in business and plan to get my MBA after my baseball career comes to an end.  I love the idea of creating and running my own Real Estate company someday.
