Growing up with three older brothers had a huge impact on my athletic choices. Watching them inspired me to follow in their footsteps and work even harder to be just that much better than they were. That's when I chose to pursue baseball as my primary sport. I began in t-ball and I have continued throughout my middle and high school career. Coming into high school, I knew it would be tough maintaining my grades and playing three sports, but I decided it was what I wanted to do and I have maintained above a 3.0 GPA throughout high school. As you know, I am class of 2017 and this will be my senior year. I intend on pushing myself to get back to the 4.0 GPA range this year. I will also be entering my second year of dual enrollment this year which calls for even more effort towards my studies as well as athletics. I intend on continuing to do in well in high school and college as well.
This past year for athletics was quite humbling due to lack of success as compared to past years. I played three sports this year and our team struggled in each sport. because of this, I have began pushing myself more and more this off-season to get myself better and more prepared for the upcoming school year. Baseball has been my primary focus and i have begin to increase my strength and speed as well as my knowledge of the game. I plan to continue to succeed throughout college and be a leading force for a change in my own school.
