Personal Statement

My personal goal is to be able to attend a college where I can continue my dream of playing baseball while obtaining a degree in Sports Medicine. I am a self driven and very coachable athlete and will do anything to my best ability. The 2 biggest things that sets me apart from others are my heart and my mental toughness. I always give 100% effort. I also have a great ability to let things go. While my passion is definitely baseball, I have always played multiple sports which has kept me on top of my game athletically. I am also very versatile. I love to pitch, but I can fill in anywhere else on the field if I'm needed to. Finally, While I have struggled at times with academics, I always manage to apply myself and get it done in the classroom as well as on the field.

Shows some range at 2B. Displays a nice loose arm action and good carry on throws. Of course we want to continue to work hard on speed/agility. Speed never slumps, so it’s a great tool to showcase. Sub 7 in the 60 is a good goal to set. Work hard to play from the ground up, don’t bend so much at hips. Get that glove presented further out front, don’t let the ball get deep. Nice approach at the plate. Keeps head quiet, tracks well. On plane path that creates fast bat speed through zone. Make sure to get that front foot down on time. Could use a little more lower half. Will be a strong pitching prospect with added velocity. Work hard on long toss and J bands. 84 MPH + is a good goal to set. Really nice arm action, works downhill, throws strikes. Nice delivery overall. Finishes a little upright, make sure to really push with lower half and drive chest to catcher. Keeps eyes on target, repeats well. Big upside with more velo.
