Personal Statement

I developed a passion for baseball as a toddler watching my older brothers play and I couldn't wait to get on the field.  Recently, my coach told my teammates I'm one of the smartest batters he's seen and I'm an excellent baserunner. I love playing all positions and love learning all I can about the sport. I've been a slow grower but a hard worker which has limited my playing time, protected my arms, strengthened my determination and allowed me to fill-in for most positions given that I play well everywhere. I will continue to build my speed, strength and endurance as well as continue building up my teammates as we know it takes a team to win.

  • 2021 WVAC (Senior Baseball)
  • Played for WVAC for 6 1/2 years. This year I played rec ball for spring and fall and played All Stars and wood bat in the summer. I am the person the put in for whomever goes to pitch. I play everywhere. My standard positions tend to be catcher and left field. I have played a lot of second base and often catcher. I'm a good pitcher but I am a junk ball pitcher and my weakness is my fast ball. My ball has a lot of movement and my pitching ability has been under utilized. I was the shortest in the league until last year. I'm now about 5'12" building my strength and endurance and am starting to pitch more.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
