For me and my family, it is important that I graduate where ever I decide to go to school. For baseball, I truly love the game. I like working out, even leg days, I like going to practice and I love playing. I don't know if it makes me different but when I am at practice I try and take reps at every position except catcher. I have been lucky that my coach lets me do this and I have had a chance to start at every single position. My dad says my future may be in the outfield or on the mound but right now, I like that my high school coach can put me anywhere and I can play everyday.
I try and work very hard in the classroom even though its boring. My parents have made it clear to us that the academics come first or there are no sports so I don't want to ruin that.
For character, my parents gave me this saying that they made me remember, character isn't what you have or do when everyone is watching, its what you have or do when no one is watching. They will never let me forget that.
For athletics, I just don't know anyone who likes to be at the field more than me. And I hit a hole in one when I was 13 when I was playing golf with my grandparents and little brother.
