Gregory Roark '12 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Greg Roark.  I am a 6'2 175 lb RHP from Lehigh Acres,FL.  This will be my 4th year of baseball in my life and my 3rd year as a pitcher. My fastball sits in the low 80s and i can touch 84. I throw a fastball, curveball, change-up and slider all for strikes. I have made huge strides this season so far with my control and up to this point in the season i have pitched 30.2 innings and have allowed 14 walks. i have struck out 28 batters and have won 5 of the 6 games ive started for our team. The biggest thing that seperates me from other players is my work ethic and my short memory. I am not opposed to learning anything, i believe that there is a learning experience hidden in anything you do. I have made the biggest starts of the season so far leading us to be the #2 seed in our district tournament with 8 games left to play. I am always getting better.
