Sebastian Font '24 Recruiting Profile

I’m Sebastian Font, a 2024 outfielder from Miami Palmetto Senior High. The game of baseball has been integral to my life since the day I could walk, always having a bat or ball in my hands. I have worked at many positions and had my struggles at each until I began playing the outfield. My speed, routes, and natural instincts make for a lethal combination covering gap to gap in center field. I love giving my pitchers confidence knowing that even if the ball is hit far, they’ll have a teammate who will track it down.

Alongside bringing confidence to a team with my defense, I take pride in rallying the team with offense. I stick with what works for me, table setting for my teammates, and if needed; creating the runs myself. Whether it's drag bunts, walks, or doubles in the gap; I make it my job to find a way on base each game. Once I'm on base I create havoc with my speed, stealing bases and overall just giving the other team a headache, leading my team in runs scored last season.

I play with a chip on my shoulder, formed with every adversity, injury overcome, or battle; and I hope to bring this swagger to your college program with pride in both athletics and high-level academics.
