Baseball has been my passion since I was 5 years old. The game has taught me that hard work and teamwork will bring success and that it takes heart and desire to achieve ultimate goals. Being under-sized at an early age I was challenged more than others to compete at a high level. It was my heart and desire that drove me to put in the extra time and hard work, not only to compete, but to win. Perfect Game has validated my playing abilities by naming me to the Rawlings 2017 Top Prospect List. Additionally, I was named to the Palm Beach High School Baseball Network All-Star Team. My belief has always been that if you work hardest at something you will be rewarded.
I became a Florida Virtual School student (FLVS) in 2016 because I wanted to place the responsibility of preparing for classes directly on my shoulders. I felt this would be good training in preparing for college. FLVS has taught me how to regiment my day to incorporate my studies, athletics, and personal life in a perfect balance. I feel this is very important to be a successful college student-athlete. I will be pursuing a degree in Computer Science.

- Named to Rawlings 2107 Top Prospect List Greg Balicki - 2B - 2017 - Wellington, FL - USA Balicki consistently performed well in games, doing an excellent job to consistently work back through the middle on a line and get hits. He already has advanced hitting tools, and should unlock some power as he grows as well. His defensive actions in the IF are very good as well. PG Scout Notes: Greg Balicki (2017 2B, Wellington, FL) showed off speed and a high level offensive skill set. Balicki had a hard hit line drive single and added a stolen base and a run scored to his box score as well. He has solid bat speed with solid athleticism and has a strong overall offensive profile. Greg Balicki (2017 2B, Wellington, FL): Continued his solid weekend, showing quality hand speed with barrel control as he laced a hard single into center field in his first at bat. He had a similar hit in his 2nd at bat, getting the barrel on plane and hitting a hard shot up the middle.
