I love the game--the competition, the strategy, and all the experiences that have shaped me into the player I am today. I love being part of a team, working together towards a win. As a catcher, I like working with the pitchers and the rest of my teammates on the field as each play develops. Being a big fan of the game and continuously watching players at higher levels has helped me understand plays and aspects of the game that I believe have assisted me in my gameplay.
As a student, I've always enjoyed math and numbers, especially those that involve baseball statistics. I hope that a business degree will allow me to continue working in baseball long after my days on the field are over.
My character has always been to work hard, be disciplined, and always be willing to learn. I believe I have the academic and athletic strengths that will allow me to excel at college.
