I started playing baseball when I was 4 years old and have loved it ever since. I have worked hard at becoming the best I can be since I started playing. When I was 12, I dislocated my growth plate in my left elbow and I wasn't able to play baseball for almost two years after that, which was very hard for me. I did my best to recover as quickly as possible and come back better than I ever was. And I did.
My freshman year I played for my high school team (Konos Academy) as a starting pitcher/1st basemen/outfielder and batted .371. During my sophomore year, I played for the same team as a starting pitcher/1st basemen/ outfielder. As a Junior, I played for the same high school team. I batted .442 through the regular season and had an ERA of 3.3 through 24 innings. I played for the Upstate Mavericks Georgia 17u team over the summer and got 3 Perfect Game All Tournament Team awards as a pitcher.
When I'm not playing baseball or working on my academics, I like hunting, working out, and spending time with family and friends, while also maintaining a part-time job landscaping.
My goals are to play at a collegiate level, while also trying to get the best education in one of my preferred studies, Sports Medicine, Kinesiology, Business, or Agriculture. I am often told that I have a strong work ethic and that I have a great character and attitude. I always give 100% in everything that I do. I always put my team and everyone around me first. I show respect for the game, my team, my coaches, the other team, and the umpires. I keep God number one, family second, school third, and baseball fourth. My favorite Bible verse is Colossians 3:23, which says "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men."
