Confidence is a valued asset. Peter was called to "Come," and many like point out, it was his lack of faith caused him to sink. I like to see the other perspective, there were 11 others on that boat that never stepped off. I want to step out in faith. I posses the confidence that Christ will lead me to where I need to be in baseball, with a team, and in life. While I will always strive for my skills on the mound to stand out, I am also determined that my character will set me apart.
