Hello-My name is Tyler Hutton; I am currently a freshman that attends Heritage High school in Conyers, GA. I am 14 years old. I am currently 5’6 and 120 lbs. I am a right handed hitter and thrower. My primary position is centerfield, although I also play second and both corners of the outfield. I am flexible around the field and will play any position that will help the team be more successful.
My collegiate goals are to attend a college where I can pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Chemical Engineering. I am currently a 4.0 GPA student that strives to excel in both academics and baseball.
My passion for baseball began at 4 years old when I started playing the sport. I also played basketball and soccer but decided to fully commit to playing baseball because it is the sport that I love the most. My defensive skills is my greatest asset on the baseball field. I started out playing in the middle infield early in my career which later on helped me with my foot work in the outfield. This allows me to read the ball very well and cover a lot of ground in the outfield. Occasionally, my coaches have me pitch a couple of games.
Every at bat I try to handle the bat very well and aim to work middle or opposite field. I am a great teammate and my goal at every game is to hype up my team every out or hit. No matter where I am on the field, I try my best to keep my team in the game no matter the circumstances.
Outside of baseball, I love to fish, sing in my high school’s Performance Arts Chorus program and spend time with my friends and family.
