Blake Fortner '24 Recruiting Profile

Baseball is a big part of my life. It has taught me how to work hard and never quit. It has taught me that no matter how hard things may get, you should never quit. I have been playing ever since I was 5 years old and fell in love instantly.

I play for my high school baseball team during the spring, and play for a travel organization called the canes in the summer. Doing this taught me how to balance school, athletics, and a personal life while still improving my game every single day.

When I am not on the field or training, I am usually at my local church volunteering on the production team, and doing whatever I can to make the services run smoothly. Being able to balance all of this while still keeping my grade up shows I would be a great fit for any university willing to take me.

I am looking forward to finding a college that will allow me to have an amazing college experience with many opportunities in education as well as on the field. I hope to have an amazing experience as I pursue my dream and goal to play at the college level.
