Jesse Ibarra '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jesse Ibarra. I am 18 years old my height is 6'1 and my weight is 200lbs. I play baseball for Evans High School in Evans, GA. I am a LHP and I play outfield and I also play 1st base. Since I was little I always dreamed of being a professional baseball player and as I got older my passion for baseball increased and i been working harder and harder to fulfill that dream. At this point my goal is to play college baseball and in order to achieve that goal I have been taking advantage of all my opportunities like playing Spring and Summer Ball, being on a travel ball team, and being on a showcase team and I also been weightlifting, using dumb bells, bands, and other exercise equipment. However; I understand how important it is to keep my GPA up so it is my goal to study hard to improve my grades. During the last few months I have been attending Mathasium and my grade has improved significantly in math. This past Summer my All-star team won District, State, and Regions in order to go to the Senior League World Series in Bangor, MA to represent the Southeast. We came in third place out of ten teams and it was a really fun experience and I was glad to be in it because I love the sport and will do anything to keep playing.
