Jackson Terry '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Jackson Terry and I attend Pike County High School in Zebulon, GA.  I am class of 2024.  I am 5'10" and 175 pounds.  My primary position is catcher and secondary is third base.    Along with playing for my high school team I also play for The Canes 17U Prospects Team.  My primary focus is my Academic performance and I currently have a 4.0 GPA.  I work very hard in and out of the classroom.  I spend a lot of my free on baseball related activities to make myself better.  I have  recently come to understand how  much I love this game.  I had an injury that required that I be off the field for 9 months; however, I feel this injury was one of the best things that ever happened to me.  It gave me a drive that I did not have before and I was determined to make a comeback.  I was able to work hard and rehab even harder.  Through this journey I have been able to come back into the game even better than I  left.  During this process God opened my eyes to a career path of Physical Therapy.  This great game is helping me to shape my life and that is priceless.  

I consider one of my best qualities on the ballfield as  being a great teammate.  I try to encourage others and clap for others when they win even if I am not at the current moment.  I want everyone to feel encouraged in there abilities.
