October 2020Personal Statement
My passion for baseball began at five years old when I started playing the sport. Speed is my greatest asset on the baseball field, both on offense and defense. I can read the ball very well and cover a lot of ground in the outfield. I am a lefty that can handle the bat very well, work the opposite field, and have exceptional base running skills. I am very coachable and a hard worker with a competitive and enthusiastic attitude. I also strive to be a great teammate who leads by example and motivates others on the team.
Education is also very important to me. I am a strong student with a 3.76 GPA (4.02 Weighted GPA) who takes mostly honors classes. I am hoping to attend a college that will challenge myself in the classroom as well as on the baseball field. Ultimately, my goal is to find the right fit as a student athlete.
