I am looking forward to the opportunity to pitch in college. I am interested in studying either journalism or kinesiology and playing baseball. I take my studies seriously, and I attend an excellent high school with rigorous academics, Oak Park & River Forest High School, located near Chicago. I am in a high number of honors classes, and I hope that helps me make a smooth transition to college.
I had an excellent summer with my travel team, and this fall I didn't give up an earned run in 12 innings while striking out 15 in tournaments in Iowa and Indiana. My two-seam fastball, which continues to increase in velocity, has solid movement and induces a lot of ground balls. I also have a four-seam fastball, a terrific curveball, a nice changeup, and a developing slider.
